2017 Theme: Communities Moving Forward!
With the upcoming construction, new opportunities coming to our area in the coming years, and the turbulence of 2016 - we think this is an optimistic attitude for 2017. We encourage parade entries to celebrate how you think we are moving forward. Business expansion, community programs, our youth achievements on the field and in the classroom, our military & public safety services, the Eclipse, increased tourism and recreation activities, our rich history and traditions all contribute to our community - and the goals of becoming an even more prosperous area for future generations. Let’s make it great!!
Taste of REnd LAke
May 11th : Taste of Rend Lake
Sponsored by Pate Funeral Home, US Bank, River City Construction and with the support of the City of Benton
Due to the weather forecast, we are postponing Taste of Rend Lake to a date later in the fall. We are bummed to do this since there iss a lot of community interest, but we felt this would be best for our vendors and attendees.
Depending on the weather that evening, Seth Watkins and Friends will still be performing. So grab something awesome food from one of our local restaurants and enjoy a picnic dinner and great music!
Thank you to our amazing vendors for their interest and support of this event. See you this fall!
For those who have purchased tickets, please return them to where you purchased them.
