About the Chamber
The Benton-West City Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501 C6 not-for-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of business, education, and the quality of life in our communities.
Funds from our members helps to sponsor a wide range of community events and students scholarships in the spring. Learn more about Student Chamber and our scholarship efforts here. Board meetings are held on the Third Thursday of the month at 8:30 am. All meetings take place at the Chamber Office located inside the Antique Auto Museum, 211 North Main Street in Benton. Our Mission
The objectives of the Benton / West City Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc, are to: advance the agricultural, industrial, commercial, and civic well being of the Benton and West City, Illinois, area; to aid in the conservation and advancement of the business and professional interests of said area; to foster and encourage the development of said area; and to exercise all powers granted by the statutes of the State of Illinois in the furthernance of said purpose.

Our History
The Benton – West City Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on July 2, 1951.
