OUR goal is to serve...


The Benton/West City Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement of business, education, and the quality of life in our communities.  To do this, we plan community events and networking opportunities, support civic programs, and fund scholarships for the entrepreneurs of tomorrow. 
 
The Chamber organizes many community events that bring thousands of visitors to our area every year.  In the spring and summer, we organize the Rend Lake Water Festival, Parade, and Carnival   May 4 - 7, 2022   In the Fall,  September 10th, 2022 we host the  Rend Lake Car Show, which brings in cars from all over the surrounding area. The Chamber/Rotary Golf Scramble October 7th, 2022.  We also assist where needed with the West City Fall Festival ,  Benton Fall Festival., and the Festival of Lights.

Each spring, we award Student Chamber of Commerce Scholarships to graduating seniors of BCHS, and support their Adopt-A-Highway clean-up program in the Fall.  We also financially support the Food Pantry and the Benton - West City Economic Development Corporation, and sponsor  the S3DA Archery Tournament.

Nationally syndicated fishing show visits Benton to film at Rend Lake.   Jeremy and his crew stopped by the Chamber of Commerce office to get a little bit of background information about the history and to check out things to do while they were here fishing.
