Golf Scramble Registration Deadline Extended
Benton, Illinois – September 9 2015 – Looking for a great day out on the links with friends? Openings are still available for individual players and teams at the Dave Atchison Memorial Golf Scramble on Thursday, Sept 24 at the Benton Country Club.

The event is co-hosted by the Benton – West City Area Chamber of Commerce and Benton Rotary Club with sponsorship by Cape Radiology Group, New Wave, State Bank of Whittington, Acute Care and our generous hole sponsors.

Teams can take advantage of a morning or afternoon flight, for a total of 25 teams of four players each on the nine-hole course. The fee is $75 per person or $300 per team. The deadline for player and team registration has been extended from Sept 10th to Sept. 16th.

Morning registration for the first flight is from 7 to 7:50 a.m. with an 8 a.m. tee time. Registration for the afternoon flight is from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a 1 p.m. tee time. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Food is provided by Martin’s Catering and sponsored by People’s National Bank. Water donated by Pepsi Mid-America.

Additional thanks to the Rend Lake Golf Outlet and to all our generous chamber members for donations toward prizes, raffle items, and player goodie bags. Event proceeds will benefit future community events.
